Anybody But Bush (15 Sites, 416 recent hits)
The Bush administration has gone in the direction of starting wars, running up huge public debts and endangethe health of all Americans with a lack of regard for the environment. Bush has lost over 3 million jobs for Americans. The debt, which you as an American must repay with interest is the highest of any President in the history of this Great Nation. The war alone in Iraq has cost $166 Billion of your dollars in less than one year. Bush is rolling back the Clean Water Act and weakening the Environmental Protection Agency which ensures the water you drink and the air you breath are safe. These policies must be debated in the public square. It is everybody's job. Thisis for Patriotic Americans who wants the best for this Great Country and for all of its citizens. Another frightening development is the anger some people have toward those who criticize Mr. Bush, the War on Terrorism or the invasion of Iraq. The tone in Washington is mean spirited as well and divisive. Some think "liberals" and "Democrats" should just disappear and that an ideal America would just consist of one party and one view. Iraq was a one-party system. So was the Soviet Union. This webring holds the true flame of freedom, that of speech and thought to which The Bill of Rights gives the highest consideration.

These sites remind each of us that preserving one of the most precious human rights is a critical responsibility of our citizenship.

Liberty & Freedom (7 Sites, 56 recent hits)
Anyone who supports Liberty, a Liberal way of life and freedom may join this. Liberty, politics, business, freedom, democracy, democrats, civil rights, equal rights, equality, prosperity. The logo is "Liberty Leading the People" by French painter Eugene Delacroix. The Statue of Liberty was based on Delacroix's painting, but when the French gave the statue to the United States as a gift, the United States decided to give her more clothes and changed the statue. The original statue had one breast revealed. It was thought it would offend religious prudes, and so the statue was changed. American religious prudes are notoriously conservative. Thus, the American version of Lady Liberty is actually quite conservative. Funny story, but it makes you realize just how backwards the United States really is.

In the 21st Century China will rise to become the first truly powerful MEGAPOWER, leaving superpowers like United States, Russia and the EU in their dust. With a booming economy, a strong work ethic, and a government that has set its goals higher than any other nation, China is leaving other countries in their dust. The United States is in DEBT to China. Chinese is the world's most popular language. 24% of the world speaks Chinese. (Spanish is 5.5% and English is 4.8%.) Isn't it time you started learning Chinese? It is already more important than english as a language of business. - - - We should never forget the horrific events of Tiananmen Square.

Billy Jack’s Crusade (2 Sites, 166 recent hits)
Welcome to Billy Jack's Crusade! We are a grassroots network of people frightened and angry about what is happening in America today. We are true non-partisans, bitterly disappointed with both the Republican and Democratic parties. We believe in an America built on the 5 A’s of our founding fathers--the 5 A's that permeate our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution: the Accessibility and Accountability of every government official, and Absolutely no Abuse of Authority by any government public official. ~~~~~~~~~~~~“Political parties (factions) are a source of corrupting evil, perhaps the greatest threat our new nation faces. Government leaders must be elected on their reputations for disinterested public service....[leaders] must pursue no partisan program....[leaders'] only aim should be for the good of the nation as a whole.” ~ George Washington ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ We disdain both political parties. We stand with George Washington who felt that the greatest danger--and what would destroy the American democratic experiment, where all sovereignty and all political power was to be only in the hands of the people--would be America's division into two parties into which citizens would invest their devotion, placing their party and its candidate above the well-being of the country and its people as a whole.

The Velvet Politics (2 Sites, 29 recent hits)
It is time to protest against the DICTATORSHIP of the United States. George W. Bush has admitted he does not listen to public polls. His own people were against the war in Iraq and yet he did not listen to them. What do you call a leader who does not listen to his own people? A dictator. Like the velvet revolutions that occurred in Georgia and California, the people of the United States need to recall George W. Bush and remove his dictatorship from power. George W. Bush MUST resign. - -- - - - -- - - - - A "velvet revolution" is a PEACEFUL revolution... a bloodless revolution. No one will be hurt unless Bush decides to send troops to commit a massacre of "peaceful protestors". After the Kent State massacre, I doubt troops would follow orders to murder their fellow Americans. - - - - - Thisalso supports anti-apartheid, anti-racism, anti-sexist and all forms of anti-bigotry. George W. Bush is a racist, sexist bigot (and a cocaine addict, lets not forget he ADMITTED to that!).
