Although it takes a lot of faith to accept sometimes, the fact is God is working out his purposes on the earth and his purposes include scientific developments. The rich and powerful think they are "running the show," and would, no doubt, be highly offended to hear the real truth that they really are only being used to accomplish God's purposes ". . . till He has put all enemies under His feet" (1 CORINTHIANS 15:25). JAMES 4&5 Shows us that God is concerned EVEN about the rich. Given the fact that God is ". . . not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 PETER 3:9), a very plausible explanation of REVELATION 22:11-12 to those with ungodly proclivities is: "go ahead, bit on, intensify your ungodly lusts, get it out of your system!" But, be warned, God is coming in judgment and you better be ready when HE comes! This discussion is an attempt to provide at least a small glimmer of hope that at least the wisest among the rich and powerful may be "seeing the light." Like many self important, deluded (2THESS. 2:11) "religious leaders" most of them will, of course, continue on to perdition. But a chosen few will surely do God's will. YES, I HAVE FAITH IN THE ESTABLISHMENT BECAUSE I HAPPEN TO KNOW WHO IS IN CHARGE!!!
