The Muntz Jet (1950-54) was very innovative for its time. It featured a "Flathead" Lincoln V8 engine, G.M.'s "hydra-matic" transmission, custom gauges, seat belts on bucket seats, and a floor console with a built-in cassette tape player (pioneered by the famous "Madman" Muntz). Earl Muntz's Road Jet can still be found on "milestone" lists as one of the Top 100 automobiles ever built.
